Nights and Weekends

When the CommCreative team is not spending their days executing top-notch unified marketing campaigns, we are a very busy group outside of these agency walls. On top of being marketers, we are artists, athletes, writers, activists, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters and friends. While marketing is our key passion during the day, here are some of the activities where we express our creative energies on our nights and weekends away from the office.

Steve D'Agostino, social media/public relations strategist at CommCreative, has hosted The Business Beat since 1995.

In an encore episode of The Business Beat on Sunday, February 12, Steve D'Agostino takes a look at the business and economics of physical therapy and wellness.

I've had a passion for photography since I was around 8. My first camera I wanted was a Kodak Brownie Hawkye. Still have it. Non Digital. Time off I enjoy traveling to exotic places, camera in a back pack and just taking amazing photographs to share with friends and family. When the weather gets good heading out in my boat with a buddy or two to catch a few lobsters makes waiting for summer seem worthwhile.

When I was in 9th grade, my very first job was as an editorial cartoonist for the Blackstone Valley Tribune. I rode my bike to the editor's office every week to get my assignments. For every illustration they published, I received a check for $10.  The very first picture ever published was of George Bush and Mike Dukakis during the 1988 presidential election.

Twenty-two years later, I got a bad sunburn during our family vaction on Cape Cod. Not being able to do much outside, I picked up my pen and begain drawing again. I've included some of my new illustrations for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Mark’s passion for drawing keeps him interested in anything visual. You could say, by day he is a mild-mannered graphic designer, but on nights and weekends he becomes: The Sketcher! Since he was a young boy, he always had an aptitude for art. He graduated art school with a degree a in illustration and in his free time likes to keep his hand in it. Art for art’s sake, if you will.
