Paid Search Specialist

The Paid Search Specialist position is vital to our digital and paid media services at COMM. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of paid search experience. The Paid Search Specialist is expected to own paid search strategy, execution, and performance for assigned accounts, including strategy, daily optimizations, and reporting/analysis.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing paid search deliverables across clients, and serving as the paid search lead for assigned clients. The Paid Search Specialist should continuously seek to improve campaign performance and leverage emerging trends and tactics.

This role will closely partner with our paid search team and the digital department, including our analytics, social, and SEO teams. On assigned accounts, we expect our paid search specialists to be knowledgeable of our client’s industries and their specific products/services to best align our paid search efforts to their desired outcomes. Understanding our agency’s perspective on paid search and our processes is key to success in this position.

  • Paid search management and optimizations for assigned accounts
  • Daily monitoring of paid search accounts for performance
  • Budget pacing for assigned accounts to ensure optimal spend for campaigns
  • Regular analysis and reporting focused on paid search performance for accounts, including specific recommendations and new opportunities for improvement
  • Completing assigned tasks on time and ensuring high quality
  • Developing paid search strategies for assigned clients, working closely with the digital and strategy teams to ensure the strategy and tactics align with overall client goals
  • Leading paid search discussions with clients, including presenting strategy, performance highlights, and reporting to demonstrate success
  • Prioritizing projects and meeting strict deadlines


  • 2 years of agency experience in paid search
  • Daily management of campaigns on Google and Bing
  • Google Ads Certification (Search)

Additional desired skills:

  • Paid media experience across other channels such as paid social, display, or programmatic
  • Familiarity with budget pacing tools
  • In-depth experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
  • B2B lead generation experience
