Art Director

We’re looking for an Art Director. Seasoned enough to drive ideas on their own. Open enough to play well with others.

You have a proven record of accomplishment. Of driving authentic and powerful visual messaging across all types of client business. You are an idea-first thinker, leading concepting, design, execution and delivery across web, digital advertising, print and social platforms.

You can be serious. You can laugh at yourself. You can be honest with who you are, and not who we’re telling you to be.

Qualifications:

  • Must be an expert with InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, After Effects.
  • 5 + Years of advertising agency experience and digital design experience with formal design training.
  • Brainstorming expert who can connect messaging to channel marketing campaigns across online, offline, social and tradeshow environments.
  • Desire to create powerful design while being a team player whose passion is making work great across concepting presentations, execution, and final production.
  • Influential collaborator who can motivate team members and clients and remind key stakeholders why we love what we do.

Internships

Account Services Intern

So you say you like to multitask? The type of responsible independent worker who can work well with a team? And you’re a born leader? Interning in the Account Services department will give you the nitty-gritty view of how an agency really runs. Not to mention meeting some great clients all around the world!

You will work with the Account team and assist in campaign development and execution ensuring successful and profitable outcomes. You’ll be involved in the development of creative briefs, schedules and trafficking work through creative and production for a timely delivery.

This position requires strong motivation, professionalism and a sense of humor when faced with clients and staff under pressure. You will need to be hands-on, love to learn, and be passionate and diligent about the details.

Program Eligibility

  • This is a paid, part-time internship
  • The CommCreative Internship program is open to current Undergrads, Grads and even recent grads are encouraged to apply.

Design Intern

Support creative staff as a graphic designer on a variety of projects including layouts, edits, presentations for new and existing clients, print and digital campaigns. The internship will provide a wide variety of real-world creative experience for an intern who is serious about their career goals. The internship will be overseen by creative department supervisors. All creative staff members will engage and mentor. The intern will spend time one-on-one with Digital Associate Creative Director, Production Manager/Designer, Art Directors/Designers and Creative Directors to learn each role as it relates to graphic design, helping to determine the role(s) they may aspire to.

Must-haves:

  • Strong digital & print design skills
  • Ability to work (and thrive) in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Adobe software, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience creating presentations in MS PPT or Apple Keynote
  • Photography experience
  • UX/ basic coding experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint)

PR and Social Media Intern

Do you love writing? Are you passionate about all things social media? Are you a news junkie? Then we want you to apply for an internship with our fun and hardworking PR and Social Media team!

We promise you a robust education in marketing communications, public relations and social media. Our interns become part of our agency culture and have a very hands-on experience. Each intern is given a staff mentor to ensure they have the best experience possible during their time at CommCreative. If you are interested in public relations and social media and are wondering what a career in this area is like, than this internship is for you.

As a public relations and social media intern, you will:

  • Assist in the development of press materials, including press releases, pitches, media alerts and fact sheets
  • Draft social media content for all relevant social media channels
  • Conduct outreach to media and pitch story ideas
  • Conduct client and project/product research
  • Monitor social media activity
  • Develop media lists
  • Monitor and compile client media coverage
  • Participate in agency brainstorming sessions
  • Learn about the integration of traditional advertising, digital marketing, public relations and social media
